Dubai To Khasab: 3 Hours
It takes normally 3.5 hours from Dubai to Khasab including the border processing time. Make sure you leave enough early to reach the give location to catch the Dhow. If it is the special event like UAE holiday make sure to leave early as the border will be crowded.
Getting On Arrival Visa:
Before leaving make sure you are eligible for on arrival visa. Some professions and nationalities are not allowed to get on arrival visa. Please speak to our representative before leaving Dubai. A statement issued by Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) read, “All passengers from India, China and Russia, who reside in or hold an entry visa to one of the following countries (United States of America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Schengen states) are allowed to obtain non-sponsored tourist visa to enter Oman as per the applied terms and conditions of the authorities.”
It will be 85 AED (Arab Emirates Dirhams) per person for UAE work visa holders and 235 AED for tourist visa holders. You can pay by credit card, debit card or cash to the get visa from border.
Passport & Visa Validity:
If you have UAE work visa make sure your passport and Visa is not expiring in next 90 days from your tour date. Minimum 90 days passport validity from tour date is required for tourists as well.
If you are coming by your own car, make sure you have car ownership card (Malkiya) and your car is covered for Oman insurance. If it is not covered you can buy temporary insurance from border. If you have a rented car then make sure you get the NOC (No Objection Certificate) to cross the borders. If you don’t have NOC you will not be allowed to cross the border with car.
